Keylor Navas out of PSG
Keylor Navas was considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world. The Costa Rican became the indisputable starter for Real Madrid, and in 2018, he was declared by UEFA as the best goalkeeper in the Champions League.
But since he moved to PSG, his playing time has gone downhill, as has his performance. The goalkeeper arrived at the World Cup after four months of inactivity in the French team, and he admitted that he does not like being a substitute.
His participation in the World Cup did not help his case to win back a fundamental role in the French club since the ridicule that Costa Rica made losing 7-0 against Spain has made Navas’ value go down a lot.
It seems that PSG has no plans for the player other than a substitute role, which the player does not like.
Given this situation, it is likely that the attic will look for a new option during the winter market.
One of Navas’s options could be another of the European giants, Bayern Münich. The club lost Manuel Neuer after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The German goalkeeper was injured while skiing and would be out for several months with the Bavarians.
Another of the big clubs in the Old Continent could be AC Milan. Mike Maignan’s injury has the club concerned, and they will go out looking for a replacement.
Outside of Europe, MLS seems an attractive option for Navas, as the North American league is increasingly competitive, and the player would fit in very well with clubs like Inter Miami or the LA Galaxy.
Whatever the situation, it is very likely that the future of Navas is far from Paris.
